In today’s fast-paced world, it's common to feel overwhelmed, stressed, or even lost. When life gets tough, how do you reset and regain control of your mindset? One effective technique is called anchoring, which allows you to bring positive past experiences into the present to shift your mindset and energy.

What is Anchoring?
Anchoring is a psychological technique where you recall a moment of empowerment or happiness from your past and use it to reframe your current situation. It’s a simple yet powerful way to reduce stress, calm anxiety, and get back to a positive mindset when life feels overwhelming.

How to Practice Anchoring:

  1. Close your eyes and think of a moment when you felt your best—strong, happy, or accomplished.

  2. Visualize the moment in great detail—what were you doing, what did it feel like, what were the sounds and sights around you?

  3. Anchor it physically by placing your hand on your heart (or any spot where you feel connected to the memory).

  4. Breathe deeply, allowing that positive energy to flow into the present moment, grounding and resetting your mindset.
